Sea.Hear.Now Festival will take place Sept. 18-19, 2021 in Asbury Park, NJ. The festival is open from 12pm – 10:30pm each day.

Official Festival Ticket Exchange

Fans now have the ability to purchase through an official, verified ticket exchange. If you purchased a ticket and can no longer attend the festival, you can also use the exchange to resell your tickets. Coming to Sea.Hear.Now from the North / New York City

To get to the festival from NYC’s Penn Station (7th Ave & 32nd Street):

  • Take North Jersey Coastline Route (Toward Bay Head or Long Branch)
  • Transfer at Long Branch Station
  • Take North Jersey Coastline Route (Towards Bay Head)
  • Detrain at Asbury Park Station (200 Memorial Drive) and proceed to festival location

Returning from Sea.Hear.Now using Asbury Station (200 Memorial Drive):

  • Take North Jersey Coastline Route (Toward Long Branch)
  • Transfer at Long Branch Station
  • Take North Jersey Coastline Route (Toward NYC Penn Station)
  • Ride to NYC Penn Station (7th Ave & 32nd Street)

NOTE: Asbury Park Station is a 5 minute car ride or 15 minute walk from the festival.

Last trains of the night

From Asbury Park:

  • To Long Branch/Newark/New York at 9:43pm and 11:57pm
  • To Bay Head at 10:58pm, 12:58am, and 2:54am

From Long Branch:

  • To Newark/New York at 11:32pm and 12:18am
  • Note that the 11:57 train from Asbury Park connects with the 12:18am train from Long Branch

Bicycle Parking

Bike parking at Sea.Hear.Now will be available at the corner of 5th Avenue & Kingsley Street – near the main festival entrance. Cyclists must provide their own locks.

Allowed & Prohibited


Guests and their belongings are subject to search upon entry or re-entry. You can help keep the lines moving quickly by leaving large bags at home.

The following items are ALLOWED:

  • CLEAR bags made up of clear plastic, vinyl, or pvc, and no larger than 12" x 12" x 6". Small clutch purses and fanny packs with no more than 1 pocket.  Clutch purses no larger than 4.5" x 5.5
  • Baby Strollers
  • Frisbees
  • Binoculars
  • Blankets, Sheets, Towels
  • Cameras (basic point and shoot consumer-grade cameras) without detachable lenses and other accessories (monopods, selfie sticks, tripods, GoPro mounts, and other attachments are not allowed)
  • Empty reusable water bottles and hydration packs, and plastic or aluminum water bottles

Prescription Medicine Requirements:

  • Anyone needing prescription medicine at the festival must present the pharmacy-labeled container which states the prescription, dosage, and patient name to our medical staff at each entrance gate. Patrons are only allowed a sufficient supply of the prescribed medication for that day.
  • Medicines needing to be inhaled or smoked are prohibited unless in a prescribed inhaler.
  • Over the counter medications are allowed in a sufficient supply for the day. Bottle contents will be verified by medical personnel at the entry gates.

The following items are PROHIBITED:

  • Bags will be restricted to small purses, totes and drawstring bags only. Bag size may not exceed 14” x 11” x 5” (35cm x 28cm x 12cm), or 30 linear inches (75cm) in total, and must have no more than one singular pocket or opening. Backpacks and bags with multiple pockets are prohibited. Hydration packs are allowed but must be emptied of all liquid and have no more than two pockets in addition to the one holding the water reservoir.
  • Aerosol containers, including sunscreen and personal beauty products
  • Coolers of any kind. (Exceptions may be made for medical use)
  • Framed backpacks, multiple pocket back packs and any pack that is not aligned with the allowed backpacks above.
  • Any and all professional audio recording equipment
  • Professional cameras and professional recording (photo, video, audio) equipment (NO large professional detachable zoom lenses, stands, monopods, tripods, attachment sticks (selfie sticks) or other commercial equipment.
  • Any and all professional video equipment. No video recording will be allowed
  • Drones or any other remote flying device
  • Hammocks
  • Glass containers of any kind
  • Illegal and Illicit substances of any kind
  • Outside food or beverage (including alcohol) of any kind
  • Umbrellas
  • Pets (except service animals)
  • Selfie sticks
  • Skateboards, scooters, bicycles, wagons, carts or any personal motorized vehicles
  • Tents, canopies, or shade structures of any kind
  • Unauthorized/unlicensed vendors are not allowed. No unauthorized solicitation and materials including handbills, flyers, stickers, beach balls, give-aways, samples, etc.
  • Weapons or explosives of any kind
  • Fireworks
  • Large chains or spiked jewelry
  • Bicycles inside festival grounds (free parking is available near festival entrance)
  • Carts of any kind (including Red Wagons)
  • Chairs of any kind


Health, Safety & Security


Safety & Medical

We make every effort to create a safe and secure environment on the festival grounds. On-site security and emergency medical staff will be available at the festival. If you need any assistance, go to the medical tent, or look for a police officer or festival staff member.

Security Screening & Entry

For the safety of everyone entering the festival, all patrons are subject to a full and complete search prior to entry.

Please review the Allowed & Prohibited items list for a stress-free entry process.

By purchasing a ticket, you agree to submit to a full body pat-down before entry. If you would like to be screened by security personnel of your same gender, please let security personnel know prior to the search process. Screening of children will always take place with the consent of a parent or guardian.

All bags will be searched before entry.

Persons that refuse to comply with the search policy will be refused entry into the event.

At any time during the entry process if you have questions, ask for assistance from Festival Staff located at the front gates.

Health and Safety

COVID-19 Health Policy and Sea.Hear.Now Entry Requirements

The safety of our patrons and our staff is our number one priority. As such, a full COVID-19 vaccination or negative COVID-19 test results will be required to attend Sea.Hear.Now 2021. 

For patrons who are not fully vaccinated, a negative COVID-19 test result must be obtained within 72 hours (3 days) of first attending Sea.Hear.Now.

Sea.Hear.Now 2021 Entry Procedures

  1. Comply with the Sea.Hear.Now Fan Health Pledge
  2. Each day, bring a printed copy of your Vaccine Card, Vaccine Record, or Negative COVID-19 test and a mask
  3. Bring your Festival Wristband
  4. If you are unvaccinated, wear a mask throughout your time onsite.
  5. Please also remember our updated bag policy – CLEAR BAGS ONLY – and No liquids are allowed to be brought into Sea.Hear.Now

Based on the latest advice from health officials, Sea.Hear.Now will require masks in any indoor spaces at Asbury Park, which include the Transparent Gallery, Grand Arcade, Box Office and a premium hospitality tent.  We encourage all fans attending the festival to bring a mask each day.

Sea.Hear.Now Fan Health Pledge

We ask that you not attend if any of the following is true for you or anyone in your party:

  • Within 14 days before attending the festival you have tested positive, or been exposed to someone who has tested positive for, COVID-19;
  • Within 48 hours prior to attending the festival, you have experienced symptoms of COVID-19 (e.g., a fever of 100.4F or higher, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, chills, repeated shaking muscle pain/achiness, headache, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, nasal congestion, runny nose, vomiting, diarrhea, fatigue or any other symptoms associated with COVID-19 identified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention);
  • Within 14 days prior to attending the festival, you have travelled to any international territory identified by federal or applicable state or local governments as being subject to travel or quarantine advisories due to COVID-19.

Additional Information: 

We will have increased hand sanitizer stations on-site, and our cleaning crews will do frequent cleanings in high touch areas. 

COVID-19 Warning

We have taken enhanced health and safety measures for you, our artists and employees.  You must follow all posted instructions while attending Sea.Hear.Now Festival.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public space where people are present.  COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death.  According to the Centers For Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.

By attending Sea.Hear.Now Festival, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
