Jackson Pines are an indie-folk duo from the Pine Barrens of New Jersey. Coming up in the Asbury Music scene since they were teenagers, Joe and James have taken their homemade music around the country and across the Atlantic over the last few years, opening for Old Crow Medicine Show, Margo Price, and Jessica Lea Mayfield and sharing festival bills with Mumford & Sons, Jenny Lewis, Weezer, and more. Weaving stories from their lives and the people they've met along the way, Jackson Pines' sound is influenced by the history of blues, folk, and rock 'n' roll, but hints that the best has yet to come. Their debut LP "Purgatory Road" was produced by Simone Felice (The Lumineers, Jade Bird) and the follow-up will be out Spring 2020, backed by a full band. Billboard magazine has said they make "music that presents a unique lyrical take on life, bringing a rustic flair to the world of indie-folk/acoustic music [...] they've certainly only just begun."
